Rekonstruktive Möglichkeiten bei der Induratio penis plastica

Zusammenfassung

Die operative Therapie der Induratio penis plastica (IPP) umfasst ein mehrstufiges Vorgehen mit steigender Invasivität. Hierbei ist neben der genauen Kenntnis der zur Verfügung stehenden operativen Verfahren, die Indikationsstellung und Aufklärung der Patienten, wie auch sonst, von äußerster Wichtigkeit.
Die Unzufriedenheit vieler Patienten mit den postoperativen Ergebnissen resultiert v. a. aus falschen Erwartungen und positivistischen Darstellungen. Wenn es gelingt, dies zu vermeiden und die vorhandenen operativen Verfahren individuell richtig anzuwenden, sind auch diese „komplexen Patienten“ sehr erfolgreich zu therapieren.
