The reaction of the European Society of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (ESCAP) to the increasing numbers of refugees entering Europe was to initiate the project titled ESCAP for mental health of child and adolescent refugees, to be carried out by members of the ESCAP board and a group of volunteers. The aims and mission of this initiative were published as an editorial in the January 2016 issue of ECAP [
