Zusammenfassung

Hohe Rezidivraten in der Hiatushernien- und Antirefluxchirurgie haben zur Einführung verschiedener Methoden des Zwerchfellverschlusses geführt. Die Hiatoplastik mit Netzprothesen ist ein kontrovers diskutiertes Thema in der Literatur. Vorliegende Daten zeigen zwar geringere Rezidivraten nach prothetischer Hiatoplastik, jedoch existiert kein klarer Standard in der Indikationsstellung und Durchführung. Trotz der Verfügbarkeit einiger prospektiv randomisierter Studien kann zum jetzigen Zeitpunkt keine eindeutige Empfehlung abgegeben werden.
