Congenital aneurysm of the left ventricle is a very rare entity. Here we report the case of a 56 year old woman who was referred to us when a calcification in the apex of the left ventricle was detected after an abdominal CT carried out for unspecified symptoms. Her medical history included a treadmill test in 1983, conducted after the finding of negative T waves in V2 to V4 in a routine ECG, which was considered a normal variant in women.
