In a case series, two patients were described [ages and sexes not stated], who developed sedation and vivid dreams (one patient each) during treatment with ketamine for sickle cell disease pain. Both the patients were treated with continuous infusion with ketamine 1−5 µg/kg/min after opioids were unable to manage the pain. One patient reported mild sedation while another one patient reported vivid dreams secondary to ketamine treatment [duration of treatments to reactions onsets not stated]. Ketamine was continued and the symptoms of both the patients resolved. …
