Kinder mit chronischen Schmerzen stellen ein wachsendes Problem dar, mit einer derzeitigen Prävalenz von 30 % in epidemiologischen Studien [1]. Davon repräsentieren Kopfschmerzen mit 60 % einen entscheidenden Anteil. Untersuchungen an fast 7000 deutschen Schülern haben gezeigt, dass ca. 90 % bis zum 12. Lebensjahr Kopfschmerzerfahrungen haben und dass es sich dabei in ca. 60 % um Kopfschmerzen vom Spannungstyp und bei ca. 12 % um Migräne handelt [2]. Eine wesentliche Folge sind erhöhte Fehlzeiten in der Schule und ein Vermeidungsverhalten in der Gestaltung von Freizeitaktivitäten [3]. …
