Primary signet-ring cell carcinoma (SRCC) of the ampulla of Vater is extremely rare; only less than 20 cases have been reported in the literature [1‐5]. All are case reports, and there have been no immunohistochemical studies except for the author’s previous case report in a 74-year-old woman [5]. …
