Lebensqualität von Patienten mit Mycosis fungoides und Sézary-Syndrom

Zusammenfassung

Die Mycosis fungoides als häufigster Vertreter und das Sézary-Syndrom als leukämische Variante zählen zur seltenen Gruppe der kutanen T‑Zell-Lymphome. Beide Erkrankungen gelten als nicht heilbar und zeichnen sich oftmals durch einen jahrelangen, chronischen Verlauf aus. Aufgrund der palliativen Situation sollte der Erhalt der Lebensqualität neben der Symptomkontrolle einen integralen Bestandteil der Versorgung von Patienten mit kutanen T‑Zell-Lymphomen darstellen. Juckreiz als häufiges und belastendes Symptom der kutanen T‑Zell-Lymphome kann die Lebensqualität negativ beeinflussen. Mithilfe etablierter Messinstrumente ist es möglich, den Juckreiz und die Lebensqualität auch im klinischen Alltag zu messen. Die konsequente Erfassung ermöglicht es dem Behandler, Einschränkungen von physischen und psychosozialen Aspekten der Lebensqualität frühzeitig zu erkennen und die therapeutischen Maßnahmen dahingehend anzupassen.
