Auf einen Blick

Verordnungsprofil Zu den Magen-Darm-Medikamenten werden verschiedene Arzneimittelgruppen zur Behandlung von Krankheiten des Gastrointestinaltrakts gezählt. Protonenpumpeninhibitoren (PPI) haben hierbei gemessen an den definierten Tagesdosen (DDD) mit 3,8 Mrd. Tagesdosen mit Abstand das größte Verordnungsvolumen, gefolgt von Laxanzien, intestinalen Antiphlogistika, Prokinetika und Carminativa, Lebertherapeutika, Pankreatin und Antidiarrhoika. Für die PPI zeigt sich im Jahr 2022 im Vergleich zu 2021 ein nahezu konstant hohes Verordnungsvolumen (+0,7 %). Die Verordnung von PPI erreichte im Jahr 2016 ihren Höchstwert und steigt nach einem Rückgang in 2017 tendenziell jährlich an. Wie auch in 2021 sind in 2022 für den Antikörper Vedolizumab weitere Verschreibungszunahmen berichtet. Die Verordnung der Pankreatinpräparate hat leicht zugenommen. Geringe Verordnungsvolumina entfallen auf Antidiarrhoika und Laxanzien. Die reale Medikation kann hier vor dem Hintergrund der Tatsache, dass z. B. Laxanzien nur für spezielle Indikationen rezeptiertbar sind, höher sein.

Hervorzuheben ist eine deutlich angestiegene Verordnung von Hepatitis B Medikamenten (+27,6 %), im Besonderen Tenofovirdisoproxil (+157,7 %) im Jahr 2022 im Vergleich zum Jahr 2021. Dies geht einher mit einer deutlich erhöhten Meldungsrate an Hepatitis B Infektionen in Deutschland.
