The spleen is a highly vascularized intraperitoneal organ located over the left upper quadrant. Due to its attachment to the stomach via the gastrosplenic ligament, erosion and injury with significant bleeding are possible during primary or revisional laparoscopic bariatric surgery [

2]. Therefore, it is crucial to conduct a thorough preoperative survey and perform cautious manipulation during revisional laparoscopic bariatric surgery [
3,
4]. Laparoscopic gastric clipping (LGC) with associated bariatric procedures was proposed as a relatively novel technique that could produce notable weight loss while preserving anatomic integrity by applying a metallic clip horizontally over the gastric cardia [
