Zusammenfassung

Die opioidinduzierte Obstipation ist eine der häufigsten unerwünschten Wirkungen bei der Opioidgabe und führt oft zu einer erheblichen Beeinträchtigung bis hin zum vorzeitigen Abbruch der Therapie mit Opioiden. Um dem vorzubeugen, ist es sinnvoll, Patienten zu sensibilisieren, individuell angepasste Medikationspläne zu erstellen und die klinische Situation regelmäßig neu zu bewerten.
