Abstract
The authors assessed the clinical course of idiopathic choroidal neovascularization (CNV) by optical coherence tomography (OCT) after photodynamic therapy (PDT) with verteporfin in nine eyes of eight patients. Different OCT patterns were observed at the active, intermediate, and cicatricial stages. The active leakage on late frames of FA in five eyes, was defined as cystoid macular edema. OCT seems to be useful for evaluating the clinical course and response to PDT.
