Abstract
We report a case of 14-year-old man, who presented to us with complaints of progressively increasing dyspnoea and pain on left side of chest with previous history of recurrent pain in the abdomen. He was diagnosed as a case of chronic pancreatitis with pancreaticopleural fistula after careful history, examination and investigations. Chest tube was inserted, and pancreatic duct stenting was done through endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP). Later on Roux en Y longitudinal pancreaticojejunostomy was done, and patient was discharged in satisfactory conditions. Owing to this rare presentation of chronic pancreatitis, this case has been reported here.
