Panayiotopoulos Syndrome typically manifests as focal seizures originating in the occipital lobe of the brain [
1]. Seizures may involve visual symptoms such as simple or complex visual hallucinations, color perception changes, and eye deviation. Autonomic symptoms like nausea, vomiting, pallor, flushing, or altered heart rate may also occur. The usual onset of the syndrome is between 3 and 6 years of age. Electroencephalogram (EEG) recordings during or between seizures may reveal characteristic patterns such as occipital spikes, spike-wave complexes, or generalized slow waves, aiding in diagnosis. …
