Zusammenfassung

Die meisten peripheren und zentralen Schwindelsyndrome sowie Nystagmusformen lassen sich heute erfolgreich therapieren. Neben einer vorübergehenden, zeitlich eng begrenzten symptomatischen Behandlung werden soweit wie möglich kausale Therapien eingesetzt. Allerdings gibt es kein Medikament, mit dem sich alle Schwindelsyndrome behandeln lassen.
