Zusammenfassung

Wenn pharmakologische und psychotherapeutische Behandlungen der Depression nicht anschlagen, können Hirnstimulationsverfahren eingesetzt werden. Sie stimulieren gezielt die pathologisch veränderten Hirnregionen, um ihre neuronale Aktivität zu normalisieren.
