Zusammenfassung

In diesem Kapitel werden die den verschiedenen Gewebskomponenten des Organs zugeordneten Tumoren und tumorartigen Alterationen mit ihren makroskopischen und histopathologischen Befunden dargestellt. Nach einer Diskussion der zystischen Milzläsionen folgt eine detaillierte Darstellung gutartiger und maligner vaskulärer Tumoren in ihren charakteristischen und milztypischen Befunden. Das große Kapitel der speziellen hämatologischen Tumoren der Milz und des Organbefalls bei systemischen malignen Lymphomen wird auf dem Boden der neuen WHO diskutiert, wobei auch auf die heute historischen Befunde aus der Zeit, als therapeutische und diagnostische Splenektomien noch häufiger waren, zurückgegriffen werden kann. Schließlich folgt die Darstellung unterschiedlicher histiozytärer Tumoren in der Milz und die Diskussion von Milzmetastasen.
