Zusammenfassung

Hintergrund

Die chronische Depression stellt eine besondere Herausforderung für das psychiatrisch-psychotherapeutische Versorgungssystem dar. Aufgrund hoher Raten an psychiatrischen Komorbiditäten sowie häufig multipler Resistenz gegenüber pharmakologischen und konventionellen psychotherapeutischen Therapien sind neue Behandlungsstrategien dringend notwendig.

Ziel der Arbeit

In dieser Übersicht werden die Besonderheiten chronischer und therapieresistenter Depressionen sowie die pharmakologischen und psychotherapeutischen Behandlungsoptionen dargestellt. Ein Schwerpunkt liegt auf der Darstellung des Cognitive Behavioral Analysis System of Psychotherapy (CBASP), der bislang einzigen störungsspezifischen Psychotherapie für chronische Depression. Schließlich wird der Stellenwert stationärer Psychotherapieprogramme und gestufter Behandlungskonzepte in der Therapie chronischer und therapieresistenter Depressionen diskutiert.
