Sirs: A 72-year old patient was referred to our hospital due to suspected acute coronary syndrom (ACS). He complained about acute chest pain projecting in the back and about serious increasing headache for weeks. Electrocardiogram and laboratory tests excluded an acute coronary syndrome. Due to patients complaints and elevated inflammatory laboratory values like C-reactive protein of 9.6 mg/dl, leucocytes of 13,500/µl and erythrocyte sedimentation rate of 46 mm/h he was referred to magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). …
