Hintergrund

Immunologische Systemerkrankungen können zahlreiche unterschiedliche Organsysteme betreffen. Renale Manifestationen sind häufig und können sich als akutes Nierenversagen (ANV) präsentieren.

Ziel

Diese Übersichtarbeit erörtert die Bedeutung des ANV bei immunologischen Systemerkrankungen.

Schlussfolgerung

Das ANV ist bei Systemerkrankungen prognoselimitierend, und die Pathomechanismen, die zum ANV führen, differieren. Eine spezifische Therapie zur Behandlung des ANV ist in den meisten Fällen unbedingt erforderlich. Zu diagnostischen Zwecken und zur Planung der Therapie muss eine Nierenbiopsie erfolgen. Erkrankungen mit rezidivierendem Verlauf erfordern die engmaschige Überwachung des Patienten, damit renale Rückfälle früh erkannt werden können und ausgeprägte renale Schäden vermieden werden.
