Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a respiratory disease caused by the novel severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), which has reached pandemic status as declared by the World Health Organization (WHO) on 11 March 2020 [
