Ist zu wenig Social Media auch ungünstig?

Ergebnisse einer australischen Befragung von Schülerinnen und Schülern der Klassenstufen 4 bis 12 legen nahe, dass nicht nur eine hohe Social-Media-Nutzung das Wohlbefinden trüben kann – unter bestimmten Umständen ging auch eine vollständige Abstinenz mit Nachteilen einher.

Therapie auf der Intensivstation hinterlässt oft tiefe Spuren

Kritisch Kranke, die einer Intensivbehandlung bedürfen, haben ein hohes Risiko für ernste Beeinträchtigungen nach ihrer Entlassung. Hausarztpraxen kommt hier eine Schlüsselrolle zu.

Jeder Sechste wird als schwierige Patientin oder Patient empfunden

Behandelnde beurteilen rund 17% der Patientinnen und Patienten in der Primärversorgung als schwierig. Meist handelt es sich um Menschen mit psychischen Begleiterkrankungen, chronischen Schmerzen oder anderen chronischen Leiden. Aber auch die Berufserfahrung der Behandelnden ist für das Urteil relevant.
