Osteomyelitis is characterized by inflammation of the bone marrow and adjacent bone and is often associated with cortical and trabecular destruction. Pelvic osteomyelitis is unusual in children and adults [
1]. Children with pelvic osteomyelitis often present with non-specific symptoms. Hence, diagnosis in the acute stage is often missed leading to disabling sequelae such as sepsis, chronic infection, and growth disturbance.
