Zusammenfassung

Das Kapitel beschäftigt sich mit dem Krankheitsbild der Fibromyalgie, seiner biomedizinischen und psychosozialen Diagnostik sowie der Pharmakotherapie, Physiotherapie und insbesondere der psychologischen Schmerztherapie. Die im Zusammenhang mit der Erkrankung am häufigsten verwendeten psychodiagnostischen Verfahren werden vorgestellt, ebenso die Ergebnisse der Therapieevaluation. Eine Diskussion zukünftiger Therapieansätze schließt sich an.
