Fortschritte in der Diagnostik des dentoalveolären Traumas

Zusammenfassung

Traumatische Zahnverletzungen zeigen zumeist komplexe Situationen im Hinblick auf verletzte Gewebe, die Zahl der betroffenen Zähne und vorbestehende Schäden. Eine korrekte und vollständige Diagnose sowie eine strukturierte Aufzeichnung der Befunde sind der Schlüssel zu einer erfolgreichen Behandlung. Klassische Untersuchungsmethoden wie Anamnese, Inspektion, Palpation, Perkussion, Sensibilitätstest und zweidimensionales Röntgen werden zunehmend durch moderne Methoden wie dentale Photographie, digitale Volumentomographie (DVT) und Onlinehilfen ergänzt.
