Increasing medical expenditures have prompted dermatologists to develop strategies to deliver high-value, cost-conscious care [
1]. To achieve this goal, dermatologists must know the costs associated with the medications, procedures, and lab tests that they recommend. Failure to account for costs may result in inefficient use of resources and increased pharmaceutical spending [
2]. It may also compromise patient adherence to treatment, leading to worse health outcomes [
3]. Prior studies have shown that the costs of dermatologic care are not well understood by providers [
