Fibromyalgia is a disease characterized by widespread pain, sleep disturbances, and classic tender points. Clauw and colleagues [
5] claim that fibromyalgia is based on “changes in the levels of neurotransmitters that cause augmented central nervous system pain processing.” On the other hand, as noted by Wallace [
22], some prominent rheumatologists do not believe that the disease exists. Hadler’s [
