Suicides or suicidal attempts using a circular blade saw are exceptional events. In the English medicolegal literature only a few case reports of this have been published [1‐4]. Suicides with other types of power saws are very rare as well [5‐10]. This paper reports the analysis of a suicide committed by a 66-year-old schizophrenic female with a homemade table saw. The morphology of inflicted injuries and findings from the scene of death are presented. …
