Chronischer Rückenschmerz

Biopsychosoziale Behandlungsansätze im Fokus

Zusammenfassung

Rückenschmerzen zählen mit 85% zu den häufigsten Beschwerden in der Bevölkerung. Sie schränken die Betroffenen in ihrer Lebensführung teils massiv ein und senken die Lebensqualität. Ferner führen sie häufig zu Krankheitsausfällen und Frühberentungen, was hohe Kosten im Gesundheitswesen auslöst. Bei nicht-spezifischen Kreuzschmerzen liegt keine erkennbare somatische Ursache vor. Insbesondere die Identifikation und Adressierung psychosozialer und arbeitsplatzbezogener Faktoren in der Therapie, die vielfach nicht bekannt sind oder vernachlässigt werden, sind daher auch vor dem Hintergrund höher werdender Zahlen der Arbeitsunfähigkeit und steigender Kosten von großer Bedeutung. Eine medikamentöse oder operative Versorgung bei nicht-spezifischen chronischen Kreuzschmerzen wird selten bzw. nicht empfohlen. Diese Übersicht konzentriert sich daher auf eine biopsychosoziale Sicht in der Befunderhebung und Therapie chronischer Rückenschmerzen.
