Zusammenfassung

M. Linehan bezeichnet ihr Werk auch als factory – Werkstätte, wo jeder Mitarbeiter Wissen, Ideen und Skills entnehmen, aber auch Eigenes wieder einbringen kann. In diesem Sinne hat sich die DBT, auch diagnoseübergreifend und über das ursprüngliche Setting hinausgehend, die therapeutische Welt erobert. Wir sind stolz darauf, ein Teil davon zu sein und einerseits mit Büchern und Ausbildungen, andererseits durch Arbeit mit Patienten, dazu beizutragen. Die Kapitel DBT-A für Jugendliche, DBT-Essstörung, DBT-PTSD für Patienten mit Traumafolgestörung und DBT-Sucht wurden von jungen Experten, die in Klinik und Forschung tätig sind, geschrieben. Weitere Neuigkeiten in der sich ständig erweiternden DBT-Werkstätte wie DBT-F (Forensik), DBT-ACES (Nachbetreuung nach stationärer Therapie), DBT-OCD (for emotionally over-controlled disorders), DBT im gerontopsychiatrischen Bereich, DBT-gB für Minderbegabte, DBT-ADHS und DBT für affektive Störungen werden in kürzerer Form angeführt.
