We thank Iosa and colleagues for their comments that we fully appreciated and considered interesting and stimulating. They hypothesized that the impairment of the sudden stopping observed in ataxic patients compared to controls may be due to patients’ difficulties in using environmental information. For this reason, they suggested to perform an analysis of variance using the trial repetition as within-subject factor and the group (patients vs. healthy control) as between-subject factor and analyze their interaction. …
