Anti-SSA (Ro) autoantibodies have been detected in primary Sjögren's syndrome as well as in patients with other systemic autoimmune diseases including systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). Recent studies have suggested a possible association of anti-Ro antibodies in patients with systemic sclerosis and myositis [
