I read with great interest the case reported by Ryu et al. [
1], with the endovascular treatment of a sac hygroma secondary to stent-graft placement, and I congratulate them for their treatment strategy. However, there are some considerations regarding the extension of this phenomenon in relation to devices and materials. The authors cite reports of sac hygroma with the old, nonmodified Excluder endograft (W. L. Gore, Flagstaff, AZ, USA), the Zenith endograft (Cook, Bloomington, IN, USA), and the Vanguard endograft (Boston Scientific, Natick, MA, USA). …
