Theophyllin bei Asystolie

Kasuistik und kurzer Literaturüberblick

Zusammenfassung

Es wird über den Einsatz von Theophyllin bei einer prolongierten intraoperativen kardiopulmonalen Reanimation („cardio pulmonary resuscitation“, CPR) berichtet und eine kurze Übersicht über die bisher vorliegende Literatur zum Einsatz von Theophyllin bei CPR vorgestellt. In den aktuellen Leitlinien 2005 des European Resuscitation Council (ERC) wird die systematische Gabe von Theophyllin bei Reanimationen nicht empfohlen. Jedoch erscheint die Applikation von Theophyllin beim Vorliegen einer atropin- und adrenalinrefraktären Asystolie, insbesondere als Folge eines inferioren Myokardinfarkts, aufgrund pathophysiologischer Überlegungen sinnvoll und kann im Sinne eines individuellen Heilversuches eingesetzt werden.
