Die gezielte Überwärmung von Gewebe ist ein alter Ansatz in der Therapie maligner Erkrankungen. Lesen Sie in dieser Übersicht, worin Effekte und Wirkmechanismen moderner Hyperthermieverfahren bestehen und wie sich diese in der Behandlung von pelvinen Tumoren (im Zusammenspiel mit Chemo- und/oder Radiotherapie) klinisch nutzen lassen.
