Chirurgische Therapie der diabetischen Retinopathie und Makulopathie

Zusammenfassung

Die aktuelle chirurgische Therapie der diabetischen Retinopathie ist weiterentwickelt worden und hat das Stadium der grundlegenden randomisierten klinischen Studien hinter sich gelassen. Eine Laserkoagulation, die derzeit als eines der Hauptziele der Vitrektomie z. B. bei Glaskörperblutungen angesehen wird, war zum Zeitpunkt der Vitrektomie in der ETDRS-Studie beispielsweise nicht vorgesehen. Die vorliegende Zusammenfassung diskutiert die heutigen chirurgischen Möglichkeiten und die Indikationsstellung für verschiedene Stadien der diabetischen Retinopathie und Makulopathie.
