Zusammenfassung

Konkomitante und sequenzielle primäre Radio-Chemo-Therapien werden in der Behandlung von Kopf-Hals-Tumoren zunehmend vor allem in fortgeschrittenen Stadien eingesetzt. Beim jährlichen Meeting der American Society of Clinical Oncology wurden auch 2013 einige Studien zu diesen Therapieoptionen vorgestellt. Eine Auswahl wird in diesem Beitrag besprochen, u. a. wird auf die Ergebnisse mehrerer Phase-II- und -III-Studien zu konkomitanten und Induktionschemotherapien eingegangen.

Insektenstiche sind bei Erwachsenen die häufigsten Auslöser einer Anaphylaxie. Einen wirksamen Schutz vor schweren anaphylaktischen Reaktionen bietet die allergenspezifische Immuntherapie. Jedoch kommt sie noch viel zu selten zum Einsatz.
