Evidenzbasierte Diagnostik und Therapie bei assistierter Reproduktion und Einordnung von Zusatzleistungen (Add-ons)

Zusammenfassung

Obwohl sich reproduktionsmedizinische Therapien im Laufe der letzten Jahrzehnte zum Standard innerhalb der Gynäkologie entwickelt haben, bestehen noch erhebliche Wissenslücken. Weniger als 50 % der Behandlungen führen zum gewünschten Ergebnis: einer Schwangerschaft. Daher haben sich viele Zusatzuntersuchungen und -behandlungen (sog. Add-ons) entwickelt, die Paaren mit unerfülltem Kinderwunsch angeboten werden, um möglicherweise die Behandlungsergebnisse zu verbessern. Bis heute gibt es jedoch für die allermeisten Add-ons keine Belege hinsichtlich des Nutzens in Bezug auf Schwangerschafts- und Lebendgeburtenrate. Der vorliegende Übersichtsartikel beleuchtet die verschiedenen angebotenen Add-ons für die Patientin, die Eizellen, die Embryonen und die Spermien auf Grundlage der aktuellen Studienlage.
