Wartelistenmanagement vor Nierentransplantation

Zusammenfassung

Lange Wartezeiten und ältere zu transplantierende Patienten beeinflussen die Wartelistenführung und -pflege vor Nierentransplantation in Deutschland. Der vorliegende Beitrag liefert auf der Basis von Auswertungen der aktuellen Literaturlage und verschiedener internationaler Leitlinien zum Wartelistenmanagement eine Zusammenstellung der aktuellen Anforderungen an das Wartelistenmanagement vor Nierentransplantation. Indikationen und Kontraindikationen zur Aufnahme auf die Nierentransplantationswarteliste werden vor dem Hintergrund der aktuellen demographischen und medizinischen Entwicklung zusammengestellt und kritisch diskutiert.
