Zusammenfassung

Zahlreiche Einzelstudien und Metaanalysen zeigen, dass psychotherapeutische Interventionen bei Menschen mit bipolaren Störungen den Krankheitsverlauf positiv beeinflussen können. Der Artikel gibt eine Übersicht über die Entwicklung der Psychotherapie für Menschen mit bipolaren Störungen, es werden die nach den aktuellen Leitlinien evidenzbasierten Verfahren mit ihren Wirkprinzipien vorgestellt, sowie neuere Entwicklungen der Psychotherapieforschung in diesem Feld skizziert.
