Sleeve gastrectomy (SG) has become the most commonly performed bariatric surgery worldwide. Recently, several cases of gastric cancer after SG have been reported, and the most common surgical approach was radical total gastrectomy regardless of the tumor location and stage [

8]. Subtotal gastrectomy for distal gastric cancer after SG hasn’t been reported yet. Hereby, we presented a case of distal gastric cancer after SG who underwent subtotal gastrectomy with Roux-en-Y digestive tract reconstruction. The preservation of small gastric pouch may significantly improve the postoperative quality of life with acceptable surgical safety and oncological radicality. …
