Zur invasiven Therapie von Karotisstenosen wird in den USA zunehmend die transkarotidale arterielle Revaskularisation (TCAR) eingesetzt. Registerdaten deuten auf einen dauerhaften Vorteil gegenüber dem herkömmlichen transfemoralen Karotisstenting (TF-CAS).
