Akupunktur wird in Onkologie und Palliativmedizin überwiegend eingesetzt, um belastende Symptome zu lindern. Dabei ist es unerheblich, ob diese durch den Tumor selbst oder die Therapie verursacht werden. Oft entspricht es dabei dem Patientenwunsch, dass neben der schulmedizinischen Behandlung auch komplementärmedizinische Verfahren zum Einsatz kommen. Die Akupunktur wird demnach oft begleitend angewandt und oftmals in Kombination mit anderen Therapien. …
