Dermatologische Erkrankungen und ihre Bedeutung für die Psychiatrie

Zusammenfassung

Der Zusammenhang zwischen Haut- und psychischen Erkrankungen tritt in der klinischen Praxis nicht selten auf, jedoch gibt es bis heute nur wenige Untersuchungen dazu, zu dem fehlen Kenntnisse über entsprechende bedingende neurobiologische und immunologische Mechanismen. Dabei können Veränderungen und Erkrankungen der Haut oftmals ein (frühes) Zeichen für eine psychische Störung sein. Im Sinne einer wahren „Psycho-Somatik“ sollten also Psychiater bestmöglich über diesen Zusammenhang Bescheid wissen. Diese Übersicht thematisiert die wichtigsten dermatologischen Diagnosen in Beziehung zu ihren jeweiligen psychischen Komorbiditäten und benennt die wichtigsten Aspekte bez. Epidemiologie, Symptomatik, Pathophysiologie und Behandlungsoptionen.
