Nalbuphin in der Kinderanästhesie

Zusammenfassung

Die effiziente und sichere perioperative Schmerztherapie im Kindesalter benötigt im Rahmen eines multimodalen Schmerzkonzepts ein leichtes bis mittelstarkes Opioidanalgetikum. Nalbuphin stellt durch sein klinisches Wirkspektrum als partieller μ-Rezeptor-Antagonist/κ-Rezeptor-Agonist und sein Sicherheitsprofil ein für Kinder nahezu ideales Opioidanalgetikum dar. Nalbuphin wird v. a. zur postoperativen Schmerztherapie als i.v.-Bolus, als kontinuierliche Infusion sowie als patientenkontrollierte Analgesie eingesetzt. Ferner hat sich die Substanz in Sedationsschemata zur Diagnostik und Intervention bewährt.
