Zusammenfassung

Schwangerschaften sind mit einem erhöhten Risiko für zerebrovaskuläre Erkrankungen assoziiert, die zu einem Anstieg der maternalen Morbidität und Mortalität führen können. Die Ursachen der neurovaskulären Komplikationen sind vielfältig, aber im Zusammenhang mit den im Rahmen einer Schwangerschaft auftretenden physiologischen und hormonellen Veränderungen der Hämodynamik, Hämostaseologie und des Metabolismus zu sehen.
