Stenosierende Laryngitis gastrica im Säuglingsalter

Zusammenfassung

Berichtet wird über einen 2 Monate alten weiblichen Säugling mit aphoner Stimme und zunehmendem inspiratorischen Stridor aufgrund einer stenosierenden granulierenden Laryngitis. Mittels 24 Stunden-pH-Metrie wurde ein pathologisch verstärkter gastroösophagealer Reflux gesichert. Erstmals konnte zeitnah dokumentiert werden, dass eine Antirefluxtherapie (Cisaprid, Alginsäure und Oberkörperhochlagerung) schnell zu einer Restitutio ad integrum führte. Der Fall bestätigt die Erfahrung anderer Autoren, dass auch im Säuglings- und Kleinkindalter ein gastroösophagealer Reflux zu entzündlichen Erkrankungen der oberen Atemwege, insbesondere des Kehlkopfes führen kann.
