Pertrochantäre Femurfrakturen beim geriatrischen Patienten

Zusammenfassung

Die pertrochantäre Femurfraktur gehört zu den häufigsten Verletzungen in der Alterstraumatologie und wird mit der demografischen Entwicklung in den nächsten Jahren noch weiter an Bedeutung gewinnen. Während viele Jahre die Versorgung derartiger Frakturen mithilfe der dynamischen Hüftschraube (DHS) als Goldstandard angesehen wurde, zeigen neuere Arbeiten zunehmend Vorteile der zephalomedullären Implantate auf. Aufgrund der hohen Inzidenz dieser Frakturen gehört ihre operative Versorgung zum Standardrepertoire jedes operativ tätigen Unfallchirurgen. Daher gibt der vorliegende Beitrag in kompakter Form eine Übersicht über Bekanntes und neue Entwicklungen im Bereich der pertrochantären Femurfraktur.
