Zusammenfassung

Metastasen des kolorektalen Karzinoms stellen eine interdisziplinäre therapeutische Herausforderung dar. Evidenzbasierte Leitlinien unterstützen eine Therapieentscheidung in spezifischen Situationen mit dem Ziel einer Prognoseverbesserung für die Patienten. Interventionelle Tumortherapien sind zunehmend eingesetzte Therapieoptionen zur Behandlung kolorektaler Metastasen. Die aktuelle Literatur deutet darauf hin, dass die Thermoablation kolorektaler Lebermetastasen bei selektionierten Patienten zu einer Verbesserung des Überlebens führen kann. Die Empfehlung zur Thermoablation im Rahmen von Leitlinien zur Therapie kolorektaler Metastasen ist aufgrund eines Defizits an randomisierten kontrollierten Studien gegenwärtig eingeschränkt. Aus diesem Grund ist eine Evaluation der interventionellen Tumortherapien gegenüber den etablierten Therapien, insbesondere der chirurgischen Resektion und der Chemotherapie, notwendig. Darüber hinaus bietet die interdisziplinäre Kombination ablativer Verfahren, chirurgischer Resektion und Chemotherapie einen viel versprechenden Ansatz zur Optimierung der onkologischen Therapiekonzepte zur Behandlung kolorektaler Metastasen.
