Zusammenfassung

Der zunehmende Einsatz stereotaktischer und hypofraktionierter Bestrahlungskonzepte wurde grundlegend ermöglicht durch kontinuierliche technische Fortschritte in der radiotherapeutischen Onkologie. Dedizierte Linearbeschleuniger, wie das Cyberknife(CK)-System können hohe Einzeldosen in wenigen Fraktionen mit einem Höchstgrad an Präzision und Sicherheit einstrahlen. Die technische Machbarkeit der Radiochirurgie schaffte die Grundlage für ein neues Gebiet klinischer Forschung als Bindeglied zwischen den chirurgischen Fachdisziplinen, insbesondere der Neurochirurgie und der Strahlentherapie. Zahlreiche wissenschaftliche Arbeiten belegen bei unterschiedlichen Indikationen maligner oder benigner Genese (z. B. Akustikusneurinom, Meningeom, Hirnmetastasen), dass die CK-Radiochirurgie eine weitere solide Behandlungsoption neben der mikrochirurgischen Resektion und fraktionierten Strahlentherapie darstellt. Dieser Übersichtsartikel dient dazu, einen Einblick in die stereotaktische Strahlentherapie zu geben, die technischen Vorteile des CK-Systems sowie häufige und sichere Indikationen hierfür zu benennen und deren wissenschaftliche Datengrundlage zu vermitteln.

Umfrage: Topika mit Dexpanthenol bei Radiodermatitis empfohlen

In der topischen Prävention der akuten Radiodermatitis werden Zubereitungen mit Dexpanthenol oder Harnstoff von deutschsprachigen Fachkreisen in der Radioonkologie am häufigsten empfohlen und als am wirksamsten bewertet. Bei der Behandlung der strahlenbedingten Hautschäden liegen Topika mit Dexpanthenol oder Kortikosteroide vorn [1].

Handekzem: Adhärenz bei topischer Therapie nicht zufriedenstellend

Einer klinischen Studie zufolge wendet nur etwa die Hälfte der Ekzem-Patient:innen ihre topische Therapie mit Kortikosteroiden wie verordnet an. Darüber hinaus nahm die Adhärenz im Zeitverlauf weiter ab. Bei einer gleichzeitig applizierten barrierestabilisierenden Basiscreme blieb die Anwendungsfrequenz dagegen über die Zeit stabil [1].
